Famous Attractions
Day trips to the magnificent coves and cliff-lined beaches are the most popular activities on the island. Perhaps the most famous of these destinations is the renowned Phang Nga Bay. The bay is filled with limestone cliffs that rise dramatically from the emerald-green waters. This is the site of the on-location filming of the dramatic final scenes of the James Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun". In fact, one of the islets is named James Bond Island.

Nightlife
Bangla Road may sound like the name of an alternative rock band, but in reality is the place to go for the finest nightlife in all of Phuket. The nightclubs, bars, exotic restaurants, and never-ending neon lights make this the place to be after dark. Night markets are big in Phuket, and visitors will find plenty of great shopping and outdoor entertainment throughout the region.
The Big Buddha statue is another major draw. Located at the south end of the island and visible for miles around, this statue will impress young and old alike. It rises 45 meters from its base atop a tall hill, and visitors can drive up the hill through dense forest for an unforgettable view.
The FantaSea Show is not to be missed and you will love the bright lights, the trapeze artists, and the Vegas-style dance numbers.
