and even Karaoke machines. You'll be just steps away from the broad stretch of beach peaked by dunes carefully restored after years of conservation. If your day and nighttime ambitions end there you'll still have a fun and relaxing vacation filled with sun, sand, and water sports.
More Than the Beach
Off the beach, Hollywood offers a thriving downtown with a more subdued nightlife only compared to the larger cities of Miami and Fort Lauderdale to the south and the north, respectively. Music, dancing, dining, and special events form the hallmark of evenings in this fun-loving Florida city as you cruise up and down Hollywood Blvd. Weekends and tourist season from November through Spring Break will be especially lively.
You'll find cuisine from around the world but especially Caribbean and South American favorites. Arts Park, in Young Circle, is also located off Hollywood Blvd and is a site for music, special events, and even classes in glassmaking and other handicrafts.
Best Time for Visiting
The busiest time for Hollywood timeshares is during the winter and Spring Break, mostly from December through early April. Snowbirds and other travelers wanting to escape the cold by enjoying quality time by the beach come from around the world and stay in Hollywood. The summer season sees more locals coming out to the beaches to cool down and enjoy special events like the 4th of July fireworks on Hollywood Beach. For the fewest crowds, plan on visiting in late summer or early fall, when fewer tourists and locals are out and about.
For families staying in Hollywood timeshares, the beach alone provides plenty of family entertainment. Additionally, ArtsPark has a play area and fountains just for kids, and Anniversary Park, just outside of downtown, has both a play area and shady Magnolia Trees for the adults to sit under.
