More Than Just Outdoor Activities
As a vacation destination for more than a century, Fish Creek has many activities other than outdoor recreation. The Peninsula Players have been entertaining visitors for 80 years and offer family-friendly shows. The theater has a café, bar and seating where you can enjoy the sunset before the show starts.
Originally started in 1958 with 80 acres of fruit trees, today, Edgewood Orchard Galleries is one of the top art galleries in the state. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon surrounded by sculptures, local crafts including glasswork and more. It also offers furniture, artwork and jewelry for sale.

History lovers will enjoy tours of the historic Alexander Nobel House and the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. Everyone loves the fired pizza at Wild Tomato made from fresh, local ingredients. For fine dining try Alexander’s Restaurant. It’s especially great for Sunday brunch. Children and adults enjoy American food at The Cookery Restaurant and Wine Bar. It is famous for its whitefish chowder and cherry pancakes.
Fish Creek is not short on events. It has a Half Marathon in May, music concerts in the park in July and August as well as the Peninsula Music Festival in August and pumpkin carving contests in October, to name just of a few.
The walkable downtown of Fish Creek is a great shopping hub. It even has its own event - the Inside/Outside sale in September. You will be able to walk from your Fish Creek timeshare to the state park, downtown and many restaurants. It is a year-round playground with a Winter Festival full of games for children, a chili cook-off, live music, fireworks and more.
