Along with several championship golf courses each of which is incredibly scenic, you will find whitewater rafting, horseback riding, rock climbing and miles of hiking and biking trails in the area. The Cumberland Mountain State Park is 1,720 acres of outdoor recreation for the whole family. It has golf courses, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, canoe rental, swimming and incredible birdwatching. The hiking trail around the lake is an easy one that goes through the beautiful forest. There is a restaurant in the park that serves a great buffet lunch and dinner.
Children love to spend the afternoon at Chuckle’s Family Fun. There are go-karts, batting cages, arcade games, laser tag, mini-golf and several restaurants. There are several wineries in the locality including the Chestnut Hill Winery and the Stonehaus Winery where parents enjoy some relaxation and tasting. Crossville is just five minutes from your timeshare where you will find the Military Memorial Museum, the Palace Theater and two antique galleries. The main nightlife nearby is at Mega-Bites Karaoke Lounge also in Crossville.

Fairfield Glade is considered a great place for a relaxing vacation and a Fairfield Glade timeshare is an inexpensive way to have a private vacation home in this scenic mountain location. If you need more activity than you find in Fairfield Glade, no problem. You are just over an hour from Knoxville. You don’t have to go that far for shopping as Crossville has an outlet center. It is considered to have the best shopping in the area for name-brand items. People come to the Crossville Outlet Center from all over the region.
Fairfield Glade has warm summers and a short cold winter. The best time to visit in early June to early July and late July to the end of September. Prices may be higher at these times, but that won’t bother a Fairfield Glade timeshare owner.
