The resort is located adjacent to Disney property, so close that visitors often ask if Epcot is within walking distance (as the crow flies it is but there is no established path to walk). Shuttle service is available for a fee and the drive to the Magic Kingdom takes about 12 minutes.

What are the top things to do at Wyndham Bonnet Creek: The swimming pool complex is amazing, with five pools, lazy rivers, splash zones and water slides for everyone in the family to have fun. Organized activities, game rooms and outdoor movie nights are great for the kids, while adults can relax in one of the hot tubs or the sauna.

What are the accommodations like at Wyndham Bonnet Creek: Spacious, with a choice of one-, two-, three- or four-bedroom suites. All suites featuring full kitchens, living room with double sleeper sofa, dining area, in-unit washer/dryer, jetted tub and balcony or patio.

The one-bedroom suite has a king bed in the master bedroom and sleeps four overall due to the sofa bed. Two-bedroom units sleep between six and eight people depending on the specific layout, as some do not have a sleeper sofa. Main bedroom has a king bed while the second bedroom has two double beds.

Three-bedroom units have king beds in two of the three bedrooms and can sleep between 8-10 comfortably with up to 2000 square feet of space. Four-bedroom units sleep 12 with king beds in two of the bedrooms, four double beds between the other two bedrooms and four bathrooms.

While this is the only resort on our list that is on the eastern side of I-4, it is still only a 10-minute drive to Disney Springs and 12 minutes to the Magic Kingdom toll plaza. Shuttle service to Disney World is available for a fee and should be arranged the day before service.

What are the top things to do at Sheraton Vistana Resort: Kid’s activities range from arts & crafts to becoming a mermaid, while adults can relax around the fire pit, in the sauna or steam room. Five food and beverage outlets mean you’ll never go hungry or thirsty. But the water is always an option with a choice of seven pools and eight hot tubs.

What are the accommodations like at Sheraton Vistana Resort: Villa accommodations with space and convenience in a true home-away-from-home setting. One- and two-bedroom villas come with fully equipped kitchens or well-equipped kitchenettes, living room, dining area, washer/dryer in-unit, jetted tubs, flat panel TV, and wireless internet access.

One-bedroom villas are as large as 920 square feet and sleep up to four people, with the two-bedroom townhouse villa sleeping as many as eight and up to 1500 square feet in size. Two-bedroom lockoff villas have separate living rooms and kitchen facilities on either side, providing more privacy if you’re traveling with friends or larger family groups.

How easy is it to get to Disneyworld from Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort? Even though the resort technically sits adjacent to Disney Animal Kingdom property, you still need to exit the resort to get there. Head around to World Drive, then to Osceola Parkway and to the park entrance just under six miles away. Epcot is about 10 miles from the resort.

What are the top things to do at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort: Golfers will absolutely adore this property, with two 18-hole and two 9-hole courses. The Legends course is the 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature Designed championship course at East Village and also has a driving range. The Reserve is the 18-hole course at West Village, with Crane’s Bend and Legends Walk each offering 9-hole courses.

What are the accommodations like at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort: Accommodations range from low set, duplex-style villas in North and West Villages to condo-style living at East Village and River Island. All units include free WiFi, a kitchen or kitchenette and living and dining areas.

Studio units are available in West Village along with one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. North Village has one-, two- and three-bedroom options, while East Village has two- and three-bedroom villas. Water taxis can take you to nearby Disney Springs and you’re only six minutes to Typhoon Lagoon, seven minutes from Epcot Center and 11 minutes to the ferry terminal at the Magic Kingdom.

What are the top things to do at Disney's Old Key West Resort: The four swimming pools are a start, with the 125-foot-long waterslide at Sandcastle pool.
