The Marriott Maui Ocean Club was essentially built in two segments. Originally, the property was a hotel built in a U-shape around the central pool complex. These are known as the Molokai, Maui and Lanai towers today.
Later, two additional towers were constructed as timeshare-specific properties. One of these towers is placed at either side of the U-shaped center. Known as the Lahaina and Napili towers, these buildings boast slightly larger rooms and full kitchens.
Marriott excels at keeping its properties refurbished and up to date. This resort is now exclusively a timeshare property, and the original hotel has been renovated in recent years. Accordingly, visitors can decide which collection of towers suits their party by taking a close look at the amenities.
